About Us
DanceSport International Australia (Formely know as Dancelife International) is Asia Pacific's largest reseller of dance CD's, Video, DVD and dance accesories.
Dancesport International Australia has a long history in dance music and was originally formed in 1978, under it first name "Dance Record Supplies". After many years of trading the company was sold in 1988 and the new owner changed the name to "Dance Music Supplies" to reflect the change from "records" to Cd's .
During this the time of Dance Music Supplies officially changed it name to Dancelife (circa 1990) this allowed the opening up to sell other products other than dance music supplies, example shoes, etc.
In November 2002, Dancelife and Dance Music supplies was sold to it current owners Ross McCaffer and Lisa Hopper, who saw the opportunities to expand from the home base of Melbourne Australia and expand to service the dancing world from the internet, and thus the company was re-named Dancelife International.
DanceSport International Australia's directors and founders are are Ross McCaffer and Lisa Hooper.
Ross McCaffer
Ross has been involved in the dancing industry for over 27 years, first as a competitor next teacher and intenational adjudicator and now co-director of Star Studios (Melbourne oldest and most prestigeous dancesport centre). Ross personally DJ's a twice weekly social dance at Star Studios in Bentleigh, Melbourne, therefore always has to be on top of the latest and greatest music.
Ross' other credentials include a formal backgound in e-marketing, wholesale and retail marketing & public relations in some of the worlds largest IT companies.

Lisa Hooper
Lisa is a current top level Australian Dancesport competitor with a passion for music. Lisa is one of Australia leading e-commerce computer specialist programmer by day and co-director of Star Studio Corporation she spends a great deal of time working on this website, so you know who to blame if there is a problem.
