A Technique of Advanced Latin American Figures DVD

Hot off the press, the definitive advanced Latin-American instructional DVD is now available. DSI has produced a visual translation of the 100 advanced Latin-American figures described by Geoffrey Hearn, assisted by Petra Matschullat-Horn, in his highly acclaimed book of the same name.
The multi-feature DVD is danced by the current Open British Latin American Champions Michael Malitowski & Joanna Leunis and dissects every aspect of winning technique. In addition to demonstrating technique, the DVD features a complete performance to study and learn from their use of body rhythm including details such as use of hands and arms and how Joanna incorporates the use of her costume to enhance and emphasise both her femininity and rhythm.
Other valuable features of the DVD include analysis of both structure and character in each dance, plus each figure danced twice in different directions and a detailed examination of both male and female moves, demonstrated singly to a rhythmic count.
